Shift Report
The Shift Report provides a detailed breakdown of assigned shifts, including scheduled times, actual clock-in/out times, total hours, and cost. It’s useful for auditing coverage, tracking contractor time, and identifying inconsistencies such as late arrivals or early departures.
Filters
At the top of the report, you can adjust the following:
- Date Range: Pick from common presets like Today, This Week, or Last Month.
- Businesses: Limit results to specific business locations.
- Contractors: Optionally filter by one or more contractors.
The report updates automatically based on your selections.
Report Table
The report includes the following data for each assigned shift:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Employee | Name of the contractor assigned |
| Date | Date of the shift |
| Location | Where the shift occurred |
| Rate | Hourly pay rate. If a special rate was applied, the reason will be shown in red |
| Start / End | Scheduled start and end times |
| Clock-In / Out | Actual clock-in and clock-out times, if recorded |
| Scheduled Hours | Duration between scheduled start and end times |
| Recorded Hours | Actual time worked based on clock-in and out |
| Cost | Cost based on the rate and recorded hours. If recorded time is missing, the scheduled hours are used |
Note: If a special rate was used, the row is highlighted in yellow and the rate reason appears in red next to the amount.
Totals
At the bottom of the table:
- Total Scheduled Hours: Sum of all planned hours
- Total Cost: Based on applicable rates and scheduled hours (clock-in/out is just for accountability)
This report gives you full visibility into scheduled vs. actual labor, helping flag missing clock-ins, apply special pay rates, and ensure shift coverage is properly tracked.
